Recently, the English press and Sky Sports revealed that Jorginho (30) priority was to extend his contract at Chelsea. The Italian midfielder would have hired his agent, Joao Santos, to start negotiations with the board of the London club. Information confirmed by the agent himself, in an interview with TuttomercatoWeb.
Jorginho’s contract (13 games and 2 assists this season) expires next June. This means that he will be able to discuss with other clubs from January. According to’Evening standard, Chelsea would have made a first offer of extension, rejected by Jorginho because the latter would like to see him increase his salary. The discussions would continue.
