Jorge Rodríguez: Venezuelan government has five points to resume dialogue

The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, pointed out that there are 5 points that must be carried out so that the political dialogue in Venezuela can be resumed.

Rodríguez emphasized that the lifting of sanctions is the priority point to start talks again with representatives of the Unitary Platform.

“Venezuela has 5 points to bring to the effect of promoting dialogue between Venezuelans and moving forward so that the political, social and electoral landscape passes normally”; she asserted.

In addition to the end of the sanctions, Rodríguez requested that the Venezuelan assets that are retained abroad must be returned. Likewise, he called for an end to the policies of the US Office of Foreign Assets Control and the International Criminal Court.

Finally, Rodríguez demanded the release of the Colombian-Venezuelan businessman, Alex Saab, and accused members of the opposition of breaking previous pacts.
