Neymar (31) was only able to play five games for his new club Al-Hilal before he tore his cruciate ligament with the Brazilian national team. However, the offensive magician continues to make headlines off the pitch and was recently criticized by his coach Jorge Jesus (69).
Neymar is unlikely to play for Saudi league leaders Al-Hilal again this season. The 31-year-old is currently using the football-free time for numerous party activities, such as a cruise in his home country of Brazil.
Jorge Jesus compares Neymar to Cristiano Ronaldo
“Cristiano Ronaldo has more passion for football and that’s why he prioritizes it. Neymar has more passion for other things and puts his personal life before football,” said Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus in a recent interview for Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha .
Despite criticism of his player’s lifestyle, the 69-year-old also highlighted the Brazilian’s footballing qualities: “As a player he is fabulous and as a person he surprised me positively in the month and a half that he was there.”

Good relationship with Neymar
Regarding his relationship with the Brazilian, the coach explained that he had hardly spent any time with him: “First of all, I had no luck at all. Why? I had never worked with Neymar before. We worked for a month and a half, nothing more. That’s something Unusual”.
Neymar’s absence meant they lost offensive qualities. The 31-year-old is also easy to deal with and very understanding, continued Jesus, who suddenly became euphoric after the criticism at the beginning.
