Jörg Swoboda has been advising on national and cross-border corporate transactions in the area of medium-sized owner-managed businesses since 1998. In 2023, he was named one of Germany’s best lawyers in the field in a Handelsblatt study.
He also has extensive experience in German private equity matters thanks to his many years of work as general counsel for a private equity house. As a result, he represents investors as well as management teams and vendors.
Since 2014, he has also been advising foreign companies, especially from the US and France, that are expanding in Germany. It also supports German companies in setting up companies in the EU and the US.
