Jordanian astronomer: NASA plans to cool the Earth

  • Mujahid: This would reduce the Earth’s temperature by half a degree Celsius

Astronomy expert, Imad Mujahid, revealed, on Saturday, that the US Space Agency, “NASA”, is thinking of spraying the Earth’s atmosphere with sulfur gas, in order to cool the earth.

Mujahid told Roya that NASA is considering the feature of “solar geology”, which is to send sulfur dioxide into the Earth’s atmosphere.

Sending sulfur dioxide to the earth’s atmosphere would reflect the sun’s rays before they reach the earth, and reduce the temperature by half a degree Celsius, according to Mujahid.

According to Mujahid, the earth is exposed to a rise in temperatures due to climate changes, which has caused many climatic problems.

The astronomer explained that the Earth’s temperature has risen by one to one and a half degrees Celsius in the past century.
