A few hours after announcing the disappearance of the two Jordanian youths, Omar and Ayman Al-Mazaida, in the mountains of the Dana area in the Tafila Governorate, in southern Jordan, the Jordanian security authorities announced that their bodies had been found shot dead.
Omar, in his thirties, and his younger brother, Ayman, in his twenties, went out at 8 am on Friday to graze, but the sheep returned home alone, which began to worry the family, who rushed to look for them with the help of the security services.
A teapot and two phones
After a prolonged search for a whole day, the security services, in cooperation with the citizens, found a teapot that was in the possession of the two brothers, in addition to their phones, in a mountainous area. A few meters away, their bodies were found with gunshot wounds to the head and neck.
Immediately, the two bodies were transferred to the hospital, and in the presence of the Public Prosecutor and the forensic doctor, it was decided to subject the two bodies to forensic medicine to determine the circumstances of death.
In turn, the media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate, Colonel Amer Al-Sartawi, told Al-Arabiya.net that the security services found, on Saturday morning, the bodies of two brothers, after they were reported missing, on Friday, in the Busira area of Tafila Governorate.
Colonel Al-Sartawi confirmed that the Tafila Governorate Police Directorate formed an investigative team to conduct an investigation into the case.
