Fighter Jets Jordan shot down dozens of drones Iran which crosses the country’s territory on its way to Israel. Dozens of drones were launched by Iran as a form of attack against Israel.

Reported ReutersSunday (14/4), the shooting of an Iranian drone in Jordan was confirmed by two regional security sources.

Sources said that Iranian drones were shot down in Jordanian airspace, specifically the Jordan Valley area. Dozens of drones are believed to be flying from Iran to Israel. Several other drones were also intercepted on the Iraq-Syria border.

However, there has been no official statement regarding the steps for shooting down the drones.

Iran’s attack on Israel was first announced in a report by the Iranian news agency, IRNA. The report said that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) began launching drone and missile attacks on Israel on Saturday night.

“Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced the shooting of dozens of drones and missiles towards the positions of the Zionist regime in the occupied Palestinian territories,” IRNA reported, Sunday (14/4) early morning WIB.

Israel’s anti-missile defense system has intercepted most of Iran’s air strikes, and to date the Israeli military claims the attack only damaged one of their military posts.

Many parties have responded to Iran’s attack on Israel. Countries such as Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and Jordan have closed their air space.

Meanwhile, United States President Joe Biden, who this week said he would help Israel confront Iran, will also hold an emergency meeting.
