It was at the end of the second period in the meeting between HV71 and Luleå that Murray tackled Victor Berglund hard in the rim behind goal.
Jordan Murray received a match penalty and after the match, HV’s coach Stephan Lundh was critical of the action.
– It’s unacceptable. It’s a “late hit”, it’s not okay. I did not see exactly how this one took. But that’s not okay. Obviously not. He puts our team in a bad last just like last. He has heard that and he will hear that. It’s not okay, says Lundh in C More.
Now the hill is closed for two matches for “late hit”.
“Berglund can not expect a tackle and therefore not protect himself”, the disciplinary committee writes in the decision.
