Today, the eyes of the world are directed towards the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which is celebrating the wedding of the eldest daughter of Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Princess Iman, to her fiancee, Venezuelan of Greek origin, Jamil Alexandre Termitos. The wedding of Princess Iman bint Abdullah II is scheduled to take place this evening, Sunday, according to the Jordanian Royal Court.
There were conflicting reports about the venue of the ceremony, as a BBC source suggested that the ceremony would be held in one of the royal palaces in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
And the official media announced that they will broadcast part of the wedding ceremony at six o’clock in the evening local time.
Last Tuesday, the Jordanian Queen Rania Al-Abdullah held a henna ceremony for Princess Iman at Al-Husseiniya Palace, which included traditional and popular Jordanian songs and instrumentals presented by the (Naya) band, which is considered the first women’s band in the Kingdom. Queen Rania published some pictures and video clips from her daughter’s henna ceremony through her official account on the Instagram website, where the bride appears in her white embroidered dress signed by Jordanian designer Rima Dahbour, which she decorated with a golden belt.
On July 5, 2022, the royal court officially announced the engagement of Princess Iman to Jamil Alexander Termouts, in the presence of members of the royal family.
The event is scheduled to witness a gathering of official figures from the countries of the region in addition to members of the royal families, according to what was reported by local Jordanian media.
And Queen Rania had previously published, through her official account on Instagram, a video clip of the life stages of her daughter, Princess Iman, saying, “After a week, God willing, I will see you as a bride… I protected you in the name of God, Iman, O Rihanna of the House… May God grant you success and enlighten your path. Who is Princess Iman bint Abdullah II?
Princess Iman bint Abdullah II is the first daughter of King Abdullah and his wife, Queen Rania, and the second in the order of the royal family after Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II. She was born on September 27, 1996. She is the youngest of her two sisters, Princess Salma and Prince Hashem.
Princess Iman completed her high school studies at the International Amman Academy School (IAA) in 2014, when she graduated from high school. During her academic career, she won an award in sports sciences and an award in the subject of international relations.

Termiots holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida, USA, and is the eldest of his siblings: his brother Alejandros and his sister Alexia.
After graduating from university, he worked as a co-founder and partner in the financial company “Outbound Ventures”. Previously, he worked at DPM Capital, an asset management and investment firm with stakes in companies across a variety of sectors. Previously, he worked as a manager at AMARLA, one of the largest retail stores in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Princess Iman’s marriage contract has topped the conversation of Jordanians on social media, since it was announced at the end of last February.
