Joonas Nättinen returns to SHL • is ready for HV71

Säsongen 2014/2015 var Joonas Nättinen i Modo.

It was not a success for him then, but three seasons in the Finnish league, and another four seasons as a resident player in the KHL have made him a Finnish national team player.

Nättinen var med i det finska OS-laget som plockade hem guldet vid spelen i Peking i vintras.

Now he returns to the SHL.

Sources to SportExpressen say that he agrees with the newcomer HV71.

The contract has not yet been signed, but the club and the player completely agree on all frameworks in the contract. HV71 thinks that Nättinen can be used as both center and outer forward.

Senaste säsongen spelade Nättinen för Severstal i ryska ligan, KHL.

When Kent Norberg, sports director at HV71, is confronted with the information, he is speechless.

– Nothing is clear with anyone. When something is ready, we will present it.
