Social media influencer and TV personality Joona Hellman opens up about his mental health issues in his Instagram post. According to Hellman, the last few years have been dark times for him.

– Over the years, I remember sitting several times at the reception of different psychiatrists, thinking that nothing will ever change. Time after time I left there feeling powerless and hopeless. It’s miserable, the social media influencer says in his update.

Hellman says that this year he decided to look for a new psychiatrist. He feels it helped him find answers to his constant bad feelings.

– The answers produced tears, but some of them were tears of relief. I have finally been seen and I am getting effective help, the social media influencer writes.

– Strengthening and regaining my own mental health has helped me find joy in working life again. It has improved my quality of life and the feeling that I can truly enjoy my everyday life and my work is a huge relief. It feels like a victory, he says at the end.
