Jonna Adlerteg Dominates in Champion of Champions 2023 as Nils van der Poel Offers in Night Duel

The endgame of SVT’s hit program Mästarnas mästaren is underway. Left in the competition is Nils van der Poel (skate), Johan Wissman (athletics), and Jorgen Brink (cross-country skiing) from group one, and Jonna adlerteg (gymnastics), Anders Holmertz (swimming) and Jens Byggmark (alpine) from group two.

Champion of champions 2023: Jonna Adlerteg superior

In the team competition, group two took a commanding victory, and then when it came time for the famous hunter’s rest, a member from group two once again showed the fore.

Jonna Adlerteg took home the victory seemingly unfazed, while runner-up Nils van der Poel was shaken badly before he had to throw in the towel.

– I had the legs with me today, says Jonna Adlerteg in the program.

Nils van der Poel’s offer in the night duel

Before the night duel, Anders Holmetrz, who came in last place in the overall competition, would choose an opponent in the night duel.

But there was never an election. Nils van der Poel, who came second, had already volunteered.

– Johan and Jörgen have said that it is an experience to be there, so I want to come there, he says in the program.

And Anders Holmertz accepted the 26-year-old’s offer.

– Everyone is a tough opponent, so I don’t think it matters that much, he says.
