New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers 21:19
Arrived eight of nine attempts for 69 yards, including a touchdown pass. Quarterback Daniel Jones showed his New York Giants 21:19 (21:3) against the Carolina Panthers in an impressive cameo why the franchise had given him a $160 million contract in the offseason.
In addition to Jones, backup Tyrod Taylor (9/13, 90 yards) also managed a touchdown pass. As the third quarterback, Tommy DeVito (9/11, 88 yards) also had strong values.
At the Panthers, #1 pick Bryce Young struggled with his ragged O-line and shaky receivers to end up throwing 50 percent (3/6) and 35 yards. He also had to pack a sack.
Other quarterbacks included Matt Corral (9/13, 71 yards) and Jake Luton (2/7, 41 yards, one touchdown pass). It was the second loss in the second preseason game for the Panthers.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Cincinnati Bengals 13:13
The Cincinnati Bengals went a long time without a touchdown in their second preseason game. Only in the final minute did running back Chase Brown redeem his offense with a rushing touchdown.
Because otherwise it was mostly harmless without the injured quarterback Joe Burrow. His representatives Trevor Siemian (7/14, 62 yards) and Jake Browning (16/22, 140 yards, 1 interception) remained pale.
With the Falcons, first-round pick Bijan Robinson showed his class as a running back with four carries for 20 yards. Atlanta’s only touchdown came from Carlos Washington Jr.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cleveland Browns 18:18
Already on Friday night, the Eagles and the Browns parted with a draw.
Watched by Jalen Hurts, Marcus Mariota had a used day at the Eagles: The quarterback completed nine of his 17 passes for 86 yards, was booed by his own fans after an interception and was sacked three times.
Things went better for Tanner McKee (10/18, 147 yards), who at least managed a touchdown.
With the Browns, who played without starter Deshaun Watson, his representative Kellen Mond (12/24, 126 yards) threw the only touchdown.
The game was overshadowed by injuries to Eagles players Tyrie Cleveland (cervical spine), Moro Ojomo (cervical spine) and Josh Andrews (ankle).
