Jonava volleyball players have been escorted to the final four of the Baltic League


The representatives of Jonava women’s volleyball club “Aušrinė” in the municipality were escorted to this year’s Baltic Women’s Volleyball League final four tournament in Tallinn.

District Mayor Mindaugas Sinkevičius and Deputy Mayor Birutė Gailienė thanked the girls for promoting Jonava’s name and wished them victory in the tournament, the municipality reports.

The final four of the Baltic Women’s Volleyball League will take place on February 25-26 in Tallinn (Estonia).

Lithuania will be represented in the finals by two teams – Jonavas “Aušrinė” and “Kaunas-VDU”.

In the semi-finals, “Aušrinė” will play against the Riga RVS-LU (Latvia) team, and “Kaunas-VDU” will play against the Tallinn “TalTech-Tradehouse” club (Estonia).
