The draw for the semi-finals of the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals will be held following the conclusion of all three group stage matches on Friday (9/12/2022) Evening WIB at Nimibutr Arena, Bangkok, Thailand. Indonesia has five representatives in the semifinals.
Jonathan and Anthony Ginting are the men’s singles representatives. The results of the draw took them together to the semi-finals.
In heads-up, Anthony Ginting won 4-3 over Jonathan. The two players last met in the final group stage and Anthony Ginting won 6-21, 21-10, 21-9.
From the men’s doubles number, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan will face Ong Yew Sin/Teo Ee Yi in the semi-finals of the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals. Meanwhile Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto will be challenged by Liu Yu Chen/Ou Xuan Yi.
Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari will face a test of host representatives in the semi-finals of the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals. Rinov/Pitha will face Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Sapsiree Taerattanachai.
