11.22 With today’s victory Rea is two points behind Redding in the drivers’ standings.
11.20 Jonathan Rea wins with 2 seconds and 6 tenths of advantage over Jonathan Redding. Van der Mark completes the podium and crosses the finish line 4 tenths of a second late.
11.19 Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki) wins the superpole race. For the British this is the 94th career achievement, the fourth victory in 2020 in this special type of race.
-1 Last lap! Unrivaled Jonathan Rea is close to success. Redding chases over two seconds.
-2 With simplicity Bautista earns the fourth position on Lowes.
-3 Bautista approaches Lowes. The Spaniard seeks third place!
-3 Baz loses two more positions and drops to seventh place.
-4 New passage on the finish line with Alex Lowes who puts Loris Baz and climbs to fourth place. Jonathan Rea is firmly in the lead with a two-second margin on Scott Redding’s Ducati.
-5 Scott Redding climbs to second place, while Baz loses two positions and is also passed by van der Mark.
-6 van der Mark marks the fastest lap of the race in 1.49.997, while Redding attacks Baz.
-7 There are 8 tenths that separate the first two of the ranking. Rea gained three tenths in the last pass.
-8 Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki) leads the standings with less than a second over Loris Baz (Yamaha). Scott Redding (Ducati) chases the leading duo.
-9 Rea leads the standings, while in the second sector the yellow flag waves.
-10 ABSURD !!!! Tom Skyes dangerously returns to the track and causes Mercado to fall. The latter seems in pain and is helped by the marshals.
-10 Excellent starting point for Baz who takes the lead at the first detached, but Rea resumes the top of the group at the entrance of T2.

10.46 Chaz Davies, second under yesterday’s checkered flag, could have his say in today’s superpole race. The Ducati rider was the protagonist in race-1 where he started from ninth place.
10.44 After the emotions of the first race of the weekend, the protagonists of the Superbike World Championship are preparing for a test that could change the championship standings. Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki) completed race-1 in third place and is currently five points behind Scott Redding (Ducati), who was first yesterday. The two Britons will certainly give us a show again today!

Superpole Race starting grid – Chronicle first heat – World ranking – Today’s program
Hello friends of OA Sport and welcome to LIVE LIVE on the last day of the 2020 Aragon Grand Prix, the fourth round of the Superbike World Championship. Today at the Motorland in Alcañiz the Superpole Race and Race-2, for a total of 37 fundamental points to be won in the fight for the world title that currently involves Jonathan Rea and Scott Redding. The latter won yesterday in race-1 regaining the leadership of the championship with a 5-point advantage over the reigning world champion Kawasaki, forced to settle for a disappointing third place at the end of a first heat too foul for his standards .
Triumphal Saturday for Ducati, called today to repeat itself on stellar levels after hitting a fantastic double in race-1 thanks to Scott Redding and Chaz Davies, but also the excellent fourth place of the blue Michael Ruben Rinaldi riding a Panigale V4 R of the team independent GoEleven. The Borgo Panigale manufacturer must make the best possible use of the double consecutive appointment at Aragon, a historically friendly track, to then probably have to defend itself later in Barcelona and Le Mans. Headlights also focused on Yamaha, so far unable to fight on equal terms with Ducati and Kawasaki, while a reaction of pride in today’s two races is expected from Alvaro Bautista with Honda after the crash in race-1.
The program opens at 11.00 with the start of the Superpole Race and will continue at 14.00 with the start of race-2, the last act of this Aragonese weekend.
