A working group will be set up to study this option and should hold its first meeting next Monday. This working group, in which Mr. Marchand will participate, must produce a first report in December 2020. The member for Soulanges, Marilyne Picard, must also be part of the group.
“It’s quite a job. The system is not made for people with severe disabilities to leave CHSLDs, ”says Jonathan Marchand, aware that his wish will take time to come true. “This is good news for people with disabilities in Quebec,” he says.
