The Manhattan Criminal Court on Wednesday released footage of the much-discussed “violent” confrontation between Marvel actor Jonathan Majors and his ex-girlfriend. Majors is accused by Jabarri of strangulation, assault and intimidation. The woman testified that the actor gave her a “hard blow” to the head, resulting in a cut to her ear. In addition, she is said to have suffered a bruised and broken finger from the altercation.
The new surveillance footage shows Majors picking up his then-girlfriend and pushing her back into the black car. Jabbari then gives chase and runs behind Majors through the streets, where he pushes her away again before running away. The prosecutor claims that it concerns assault by Majors. The opposing team just claims that he was trying to flee an attack from Jabbari.

The actor firmly denies the accusations. His lawyers claim that he himself was a victim of domestic violence by Jabbari. A text message conversation between the two would prove this, according to lawyer Priya Chaudhry. In a statement to Page Six, she said that Majors’ ex sent him several messages after his arrest in which she allegedly admitted that she had used physical violence against him.
In addition to the new images, however, more text messages have also surfaced. In it, Majors appeared to stop his ex from going to the hospital after she suffered a head injury. This was reported by the trade magazine ‘Variety’, which was able to view the messages. The Marvel actor also wrote that he considered committing suicide instead of coming home. “I’ll probably make myself sick. It’s not really a consideration anymore… I’m a monster,” he informed her. He called himself a “horrible man” who is incapable of love. “I’ll kill myself soon. I have already set things in motion.”
The court also released audio recordings and photos of Jabbari’s injuries. The prosecutor believes there is enough evidence through witnesses, videos and photos to prove Majors is guilty of assault. He faces up to a year in prison.
