Jonas Omlin appears, for the first time, in the eleven ideal of ‘L’Equipe’. The Montpellier goalkeeper was rewarded just after his performance on Saturday in Lyon.
Jonas Omlin was one of the great architects of Montpellier’s 2-1 success on the lawn of one of the title contenders. He notably made seven saves. The brilliance he posted on Saturday consolidates his No. 1 position after struggling in recent weeks.
Three other Montpellier players have found their place in this ideal eleven. Like Jonas Omlin, the eternal Hilton (43) is honored for the first time. Junior side Sambia and half Téji Savanier, who opened the scoring, were also distinguished.
