For a while, it seems we have an answer to the question of who is the GOAT, i.e. the best fighter of all time. The MMA community mentioned several names in this context, but Jon Jones was the most mentioned, who confirmed his qualities at the UFC 285 tournament. Despite the pause, which lasted three long docks, Jones literally destroyed Cirilo, as if he was just an MMA beginner. There was a really big difference in quality between the two fighters, thanks to which the heavyweight has a new champion. However, the old one, Francis Ngannou, reminded that he never lost his title, to which Jones has a short and clear answer.

“Good job boy. Sincerely, King of the Heavyweight,” because Francis Ngannou reacted to Jon Jones’ win. No harsh words, just a reminder that Francis still feels like a champion. Ngannou mentioned that he did not lose the title in a fight, but due to the non-renewal of his contract and that until Jones eventually defeats him, he will not be able to call himself a champion.
However, Jon Jones obviously doesn’t make a big deal out of it. When one of the journalists at the press conference read Francis’s message, Bones responded perfectly clearly, “Francis is just a cunt. I really like this message. Francis Ngannou is huge and he’s all muscle, but he’s really just a big old cunt.”
So Jones was done with the whole thing quickly and rather than Francis he wanted to talk about Stipe Miocic, with whom he would like to fight in the next fight, which he said could come sometime in the middle of this year.
It’s just a shame that we will probably never see the Jones vs. Ngannou duel, because Dana White made it known that he never wants to say never, but that he thinks that Francis would most likely not take Francis back to the UFC.
