“It is important that I convey this so that there is no excessive euphoria, too much fun because people must be aware that Covid is always peeking at us,” said Jokowi while reviewing the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination at SLB Negeri 1 Yogyakarta.
According to him, currently the most realistic thing to do is to start the transition process from every pandemic condition. This is because the current virus will not disappear in the near future, so people must live side by side with it.
“We have to start preparing for the transition from pandemic to endemic and also start learning to live together with Covid,” he explained.
Separately, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin explained that during this transition period, people can start their activities by adjusting the PPKM level in their respective regions.
“The public must also carry out health protocols with discipline and also immediately vaccinate those who have not,” he said.
“Testing, tracing, treatment including centralized isolation must be encouraged so that the identification of potential new cases can be immediately mitigated,” he said.
The latest, as of Saturday (11/9/2021) until 12.00 WIB the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia reached 4,163,732 cases. There was an addition of 5,001 yesterday.
Of these, 115,679 cases are active cases, which means the patient is still positive for Corona. The number was down by 2,855 cases from the previous day.
There are 270 positive Corona patients in Indonesia who died according to yesterday’s data. The total number of positive COVID-19 patients who died was 138,701 people.
The government stated that there were 7,586 Corona patients in Indonesia who recovered that day. The total number of Corona patients who have been declared cured is 3,909,352 people.
In line with the decline in Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, the government has provided easing for the community in a number of sectors.
The sectors in question are trade, transportation, tourism, offices/factories, religion, and education.
