President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) recently remodeled the cabinet or reshuffle by inaugurating two new ministers and three deputy ministers (wamen). Political expert Adi Prayitno assesses reshuffle This time the cabinet wants to secure Jokowi’s position in the government.
Adi highlighted that the people who were appointed by Jokowi to enter the cabinet were from his supporting parties or coalition parties. According to Adi, Jokowi wants to ensure that political power can be consolidated without any protests.
