Projo volunteers reveal President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) disagree about his son’s duet discourse Gibran Rakabuming Raka with Prabowo Subianto at 2024 presidential election. Gibran agreed with his father’s refusal.
“Good, good, agreed, that’s it,” said Gibran at the Solo City Hall, reported detikJatengFriday (26/5/2023).
Even though he agreed, Gibran admitted that he did not know about Jokowi’s rejection. Moreover, he said, he was not aware of the meeting between Jokowi and the Projo volunteers.
“I don’t understand the problem (meeting). I don’t know, I don’t know about the meeting either. I’m focused on Solo many activities, a lot of PR in Solo,” he said.
Gibran emphasized that he had never communicated with or asked for directions from Jokowi regarding his political career. He admits that he is still relaxed with his current political career.
“There’s no (direction from Jokowi), relax. There’s no talk there, I’m relaxed,” he explained.
