Chairman of the PDIP DPP Mrs. Empress once admitted that he wanted what year President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) still supports the PDIP pair, Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md. Jokowi answered Puan’s question.
“Support everything for the good of this country,” said Jokowi after the 2023 Santri Day event in Surabaya, East Java, as broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube, Sunday (22/10/2023).
The journalist then asked again what Jokowi’s statement meant. Jokowi reiterated his answer.

“Support everything for the good of this country,” said Jokowi, answering whether that meant he supported Ganjar, Prabowo Subianto and also Anies Baswedan.
Previously, Puan Maharani admitted that she also wanted to know whether Jokowi still supported Ganjar Pranowo after Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md was declared as vice presidential candidate.
“The question must be asked by Pak Jokowi, not me, so we will ask the President when he comes home, whether he still supports Pak Ganjar Pranowo or whether he has other options,” said Puan at the PDIP DPP, Jakarta, Wednesday (18/10). Puan answered about Jokowi’s direction of support now.
Puan admitted that she did not know where Jokowi would anchor his support. He also admitted that he wanted to know this.
“Please ask, I also want to ask the answer,” said Puan.
