President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) opened his voice about the appointment of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo as a suspect in the police shooting case that killed Brigadier Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.
Quoted from Detik news, Jokowi asked the media crew who asked about the matter to ask the National Police Chief directly.
“Yes, ask the National Police Chief, I’ve conveyed that many times. Ask the National Police Chief. Everything is clear,” said Jokowi at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Friday (12/8/2022).
When asked about the insistence on disclosing the motive, Jokowi asked the National Police Chief to ask this question.
“Yes, ask the National Police Chief,” said Jokowi.
4 Suspects in the Death of Brigadier J
In this case, the police have named four suspects. Apart from Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, the three other suspects are Bharada Richard Eliezer, Brigadier Ricky Rizal and Strong Ma’ruf.
In this case, Bharada E was ordered by Ferdy Sambo to shoot Brigadier J. Apart from ordering, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo was suspected of fabricating the chronology of the murder case into a shootout.
Meanwhile, Bripka RR and KM played a role in helping and witnessing the shooting of Bharada E against the victim. They were charged with premeditated murder, a subsidiary of murder.
Ferdy Sambo has been detained at the Mobile Brigade Headquarters. On Thursday (11/8), he was questioned for the first time after being named a suspect in the case of Brigadier J’s death. When the investigation report (BAP) was taken, Sambo admitted planning the murder because Brigadier J had done things that tarnished the family’s dignity.
