President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) invited Defense Minister (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto on a working visit to Maluku province. Jokowi invites Prabowo to look at the conditions of the outer islands from the defense side.

“In addition, the defense minister provided assistance with motorcycles (40 motorcycles) with the president at the local Kodim in Tual,” Heru said.
Jokowi’s visit to Maluku
One of Jokowi’s plans in Maluku is to inaugurate the Wear Fair suspension bridge in the southeast of the Maluku Regency. In his statement, Jokowi stressed the importance of infrastructure development to accelerate mobility.
“This Wear Fair Bridge is very important in the context of the mobility of people and the mobility of goods,” Jokowi said in a written statement from the Press, Media and Information Office of the Presidential Secretariat.
Jokowi was accompanied by a number of officials in the inauguration of the bridge. They include Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Maluccas Governor Murad Ismail, Southeast Maluccas Regent Muhamad Thaher Hanubun, Southeast Maluccas Deputy Regent Petrus Beruatwarin, and Mayor of Tual Adam Rahayaan.
Subsequently, Jokowi also looked into the provision of social assistance to beneficiaries in Maluku province. On this occasion, Jokowi delivered social assistance in the form of direct cash assistance (BLT), fuel oil (BBM), basic necessities and BLT for Family Hope Program (PKH) participants at the post office in Tual.
Prabowo also accompanied Jokowi on the agenda. In addition to Prabowo, there are Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Malucche Governor Murad Ismail, Regent of Southeast Maluccas Muhamad Thaher Hanubun, Deputy Regent of Southeast Maluccas Petrus Beruatwarin and Mayor of Tual Adam Rahayaan .
