Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD was surprised when they visited the location of the Circuit Formula E in Ancol, Jakarta. This is because the Secretary of Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Pandapotan Sinaga, said that this location used to be a swamp and a dumping ground for project mud.
detikcom participates in circuit review activities Formula E with Commission B DPRD DKI. They were accompanied by the directors of PT Jakpro during the review.
Commission B started the journey from a circuit point located in front of Ancol Beach City (ABC) Mall. Seen, the race track has been marked by a red wooden marker surrounded by grass.
After that, the group then walked to another point which turned out to be the East Ancol Mud Disposal site. Even though they were both marked with road signs, the roads around the site looked muddy and uneven. Stone debris and trash scattered around the site.

Seeing this condition, the DKI DPRD then questioned the question of the soil test, or the Formula E Track soil test. The Director of PT Jakpro Gunung Kartiko answered that his party was still waiting for the results of the soil test.
“During the dredging of the river, when Pak Jokowi came here, he dumped the mud. Come on, don’t be, be careful, that’s what I mean. Now that it’s been built, where will the soil test come from?” asked Pandapotan while reviewing the location, Wednesday 12/29/2021).
“We have done the soil test, we are just waiting for the results,” said the Director of PT Jakpro, Gunung Kartiko.
