President Jokowi was present at the Mandalika MotoGP. The former governor of DKI Jakarta has opened MotoGP, which has been around for 25 years in Indonesia.
Not only that, Jokowi also gave the champion trophy to Miguel Oliveira as the winner and two other racers who took the podium: Fabio Quartararo and Johann Zarco.

In the video, Jokowi who was accompanied by Iriana Jokowi and the Chair of the MPR who is also the Chair of IMI Bambang Soesatyo showed unusual expressions.

When a racer crosses the start/finish line on a straight line, Jokowi pats his forehead with his right hand. The MotoGP racers have different top speeds on the wet track of the Mandalika Circuit.
In wet conditions, the racer with the highest top speed was Enea Bastianini from Gresini with 303.3 km/hour.
Miguel Oliveira, who won the Mandalika MotoGP, has a top speed of 298.3 km/hour. Meanwhile, the racer with the lowest top speed on the Mandalika MotoGP wet track is Takaaki Nakagami with 288.0 km/hour.

However, it does not mean that the Mandalika Circuit cannot provide a better top speed. In dry conditions, the best top speed at the Mandalika Circuit is owned by Marco Bezzecchi of the VR46 team which reaches 312.1 km/hour.
This achievement was owned by Marco Bezzecchi during a free practice session or free practice (FP3) MotoGP Mandalika, Saturday 919/3).
