Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto kept in touch with President Joko Widodo at the Agung Building or Jogja State Palace, this afternoon. These two figures reveal that they are both suitable to live in Bogor.
“We talk lightly. We are both suitable to live in Bogor,” said Prabowo, which was greeted by a chuckle by Joko Widodo at the Agung Building, Jogja State Palace, Monday (2/5/2022).
As is well known, since his first term, President Joko Widodo has been living and having an office at the Bogor State Palace. In fact, several important Jokowi meetings were also held at the Bogor Palace.
Meanwhile, although Prabowo lives in Kartanegara, Jakarta, he also spends more time in Hambalang, Bogor.
In the meeting of these two figures, Jokowi emphasized that the most important thing is to stay in touch and apologize. “I think the most important thing is to have a relationship with each other and also forgive each other, the most important thing is that,” he said.
Likewise Prabowo, he said, on Eid al-Fitr, the most important thing is to stay in touch according to tradition. “On Eid al-Fitr, it is our tradition that the first day we meet with our leaders, to our president,” he said.
Both admitted that there were no important topics, such as economics or politics, that were discussed. Prabowo said there were only light conversations because both of them were suitable to live in Bogor. Prabowo is also optimistic about welcoming the coming year.
“Thank you, Mr President, it is a great honor and we are optimistic about the coming year,” he said.
