GIACARTA, KOMPAS.com – President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo o Jokowi is in 13th place in the top 50 The most influential Muslim figures in the world 2023.

This list was compiled by The 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World 2023, listed on Monday (10/31/2022). In total there were 500 people who entered the list and the top 50 were grouped separately.

There are two Indonesian representatives on this list, another is Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) chairman Yahya Cholil Staquf in 19th place.

There is also president Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan in fourth place and Mohamed Salah of Liverpool in 39th place.
