Jokowi Inaugurates 12 New Ambassadors, Politicians to Ex-Boss of Conglomerate Groups

VIVA – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially commissioned and inaugurated 12 ambassadors (dubes) Republic of Indonesia (RI) which will be placed in a number of countries.

The figures of these ambassadors came from various circles. The inauguration as usual took place at the State Palace, Jakarta, which was held consecutively with the inauguration of the TNI commander, TNI AD chief of staff and BNPB head.

After the reading of the presidential decree, the ambassadors then read the oath of office and office.

“By God I swear/By God I promise. That I to be appointed as an extraordinary ambassador and full power (LBBP) will be loyal to the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945 and will carry out all laws and regulations straightforwardly for the sake of my Dharma Bakti to the nation and country, “said Jokowi while reading the oath was followed by the appointed ambassadors.

Of the few names appointed, there are a number of career office names of politicians. Among them is Zuhairi Misrawi, a young intellectual from Nahdlatul Ulama who is also a cadre of PDI Perjuangan. Zuhairi is also known to be a graduate of Al Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.

In addition there is the name of Daniel Tumpal Simanjuntak who is a career official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who previously served as Director of Africa at the Directorate General of Asia and the Pacific at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In addition, there is also the name of Gandi Sulistiyanto, who was previously a senior executive of the Sinar Mas Group, one of the largest conglomerate groups in Indonesia.
