Jokowi Eats with Workers at the HPK IKN Nusantara Canteen

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) continuing the agenda for reviewing the development of the National Archipelago National Park in the Construction Worker Residential Area (HPK). Jokowi eats with IKN construction workers.

monitoring detikcom, Jokowi arrived at the HPK area Thursday (23/2/2023) at around 14.30 WITA. The HPK area is the third point visited by Jokowi after the Mentawir Nursery and the location of the KIPP IKN ministerial house.

Jokowi and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo sat at the table with the workers. Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and PUPT Minister Basuki Hadimuljono also accompanied.

At another table, a number of ministers were also eating with the workers. Some of them are ATR Minister Hadi Tjahjanto, Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir, Minister of Investment Bahlil Lahadalia, and Head of the IKN Authority Bambang Susantono.

After finishing eating, Jokowi greeted the workers at the HPK IKN. Jokowi also distributed T-shirts to them.

Previously, Jokowi ensured that the construction of the Archipelago IKN had started. He hopes that some of the infrastructure will be completed by 2024.

“There are no problems anymore, so bismillah this has started, once again we hope it will be finished by June. I just want to convey an optimism that the construction of the capital city of the archipelago has started, both infrastructure in the form of an office and this is the minister’s house,” Jokowi said.

According to Jokowi, there is no need to doubt anything about IKN. Development in the field has been carried out.

“So if anyone is still unsure, the field has moved like this. Because this is not a 2-year or 5-year project, it could be 10 or 15 years, just like in other countries, those who move also start and finish it approximately Think about the timeframe as before,” he added.
