President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially designated MNC Lido City in Bogor Regency, West Java as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The area was established by PT MNC Land Lido, a subsidiary of PT MNC Land Tbk owned by entrepreneur Hary Tanoesoedibjo.
The official determination of the SEZ of MNC Lido City was marked by the issuance of Government Regulation Number 69 of 2021 on June 16, 2021. Deputy for Coordination for Infrastructure Acceleration and Regional Development of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Wahyu Utomo confirmed the issuance of the PP, although it has not been uploaded to the ministry’s website.

Meanwhile, Hary Tanoesoedibjo immediately welcomed the issuance of the PP KEK MNC Lido City from Jokowi. This is because the regulation is the legal basis for regional development and providing incentives to investors and business actors in MNC Lido City.
“With the issuance of this PP on the Lido Tourism SEZ, practically all investors and business actors in the MNC Lido City SEZ can already enjoy the incentives attached to the special economic zone,” said Hary through an upload on his personal Instagram.
Hary detailed the incentives that can be enjoyed by investors and business actors in the MNC Lido City SEZ from the government, namely tax incentives in the form of exemption from value added tax (PPN) and sales tax on luxury goods (PPnBM), corporate income tax (PPh), excise duty, and duty. enter import.
“As well as various benefits for investors related to goods traffic, employment, immigration, land and spatial planning, business permits, and/or other facilities and conveniences,” he explained.
For information, the MNC Lido City SEZ was built on an area of 1,040 hectares (ha). Later, the area will be built with a world-class entertainment hospitality level.
