Jokowi emphasized that the transfer of the status of KPK employees as ASN was intended so that the spirit of eradicating corruption would be better. Regarding the TWK controversy, Jokowi asked it not to dismiss KPK employees.
“The results of the national insight test for KPK employees should be used as input for KPK improvement steps for both individuals and KPK institutions and do not necessarily serve as the basis for dismissing 75 KPK employees who have not passed the test,” Jokowi said as broadcast on the Secretariat YouTube channel. “If there are deficiencies, I think there is still a chance to improve through official education about national insight and corrective steps need to be taken immediately at the individual and organizational levels,” he added.

Even though Jokowi has been ‘saved’, the status Baswedan novel et al have not changed. Urge the KPK to reactivate the 75 employees flowing from the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) to the disabled parties.
“These 75 people must be activated starting tomorrow (today) because they do not have any problems and must carry out their duties,” said MAKI coordinator Boyamin Saiman via voice message to detikcom, Tuesday (18/5).
Moreover, Boyamin continued, the 75 employees are still paid the state’s salary so that the KPK employees must immediately work and carry out their duties.
The pressure that the decree (SK) to deactivate Novel Baswedan et al be withdrawn came from the disabled employees. Is the Head of the Design and Legal Product Division of the KPK, Rasamala Aritonang, who is part of the 75 disabled employees, asked the decree of the deactivation to be immediately revoked.

Novel Baswedan et al previously reported to the KPK Supervisory Board. Rasamala hopes that the report will soon be followed up with the revocation of the decree of deactivation. According to him, the revocation of the deactivation decree is a form of commitment from the KPK leadership to eradicating corruption.
“If that is not done, then we will doubt how this commitment is and this should not be too long because friends want to carry out their duties and functions. If the access is closed to contribute to eradicating corruption, I think it is a very fundamental issue and it is completely different from that. what was conveyed by the president and the legal provisions of the Constitutional Court, “he said.
