Airlangga said that VAT incentives for DTP houses are still needed to encourage the recovery of the property sector. However, the government plans to cut the amount of the DTP VAT incentive for houses by 50%.
In the delivery of new landed houses or flats with a maximum selling price of Rp. 2 billion, the plan is that the VAT incentive for DTP will only be given 50%. Meanwhile, for the delivery of landed houses and flats with selling prices above Rp. 2 billion to Rp. 5 billion, the VAT incentive for DTP is only 25%.
Meanwhile, according to PMK 103/2021 which is valid until December 31, 2021, 100% DTP VAT incentives are given for the submission of new landed houses or flats with a maximum selling price of Rp. 2 billion, while 50% DTP VAT incentives apply to the delivery of landed houses and flats with selling price above IDR 2 billion to IDR 5 billion.

In addition, Airlangga said that the government also plans to provide relaxation of VAT incentives for DTP houses to help developers who help with houses.
“It can also be given to those who have contracts up front, so there is time to build,” he said.
Airlangga has not mentioned the ceiling that is prepared to provide VAT incentives for DTP houses next year. As for this year, the realization of these incentives has reached Rp960 billion.
