The legendary actor Joko Rosic will receive a pension for special services to the state and the nation as of February 1, 2012. This was decided by the National Assembly, unanimously accepting the proposal of the Council of Ministers.
A month ago, the Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov submitted the proposal to the Council of Ministers. He called the actor “the eternal cowboy of Bulgarian cinema, a favorite of all generations of viewers, an era that never ends”.
Rosich is a favorite of several generations of Bulgarians. He has been awarded with a number of Bulgarian and international prizes in the field of cinema. He is also a holder of the order “Cyril and Methodius” – first degree.
