Kaufbeuren / Freiburg – After 15 points in a row, ESV Kaufbeuren once again lost in the away game in Freiburg on Sunday. It was 2: 3 after 60 exciting minutes and despite the narrow defeat there was a lot of praise for the Joker.
The game started badly, because after just 31 seconds the puck floundered into Jan Dalgic’s goal for the first. The Breisgauer also had an increase in shots on goal in the starting third and increased to 2-0 in the 18th minute. But the Joker increased the number of strokes again despite the stress of the last few days and were rewarded by Tyler Spurgeon’s 2-1 goal in the 38th minute.
In the 53rd minute, Fabian Voit even managed to equalize 2-2, but not a single turn of the hand later, Freiburg took the lead again. After a penalty time for the wolves, the ESVK were able to play in the final two minutes, but the strong Ben Meisner in goal prevented the Joker from equalizing.
There were no points for the ESVK in Breisgau, but the performance gives courage for the next tasks.
