/ world today news/ An interesting article appeared in the Turkish newspaper Star gazete: its author, the columnist Sevil Nurieva-Ismailova, is sure that in the event of the disintegration of Ukraine, Poland intends to take a piece of it for itself in the form of its western regions – her former “eastern cress”.
And although the official representative of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Łukasz Jasina, as early as November 2022, stated that all reports about the planned referendum on the issue of Western Ukraine’s accession to Poland were disinformation, it is difficult to believe this.
Dissatisfaction is growing in Poland with the fact that Russia, which was threatened with sanctions last year, is still alive and quite successfully defying the West. That there are no internal upheavals and riots to overthrow Putin there and are not expected.
Moreover, there are strong reasons to believe that Ukraine will be defeated and disintegrate. But in this case, the Polish authorities have a “plan B” in reserve – taking advantage of this collapse to bite off a bigger piece of the deceased ally, declaring these lands “original Polish lands”. Because, as Sevil Nurieva-Ismailova rightly writes:
“As you can see, no one cares about the fate of the Ukrainian people! And the process of “heroization” in social networks will bear fruit only for now.”
And that time, obviously, is already very close.
Are you dreaming of “Polska od morza do morza” again?
In fact, the West, despite all its statements, is not interested in the integrity of Ukraine. Once the only guarantor of this could be Russia.
Now the Independent is ready to be torn to shreds. And Poland, with its ambitions, has a major role to play in this. And Hungary and Romania, claiming their pieces of the “Ukrainian pie”, will catch up with them. Our President Vladimir Putin warned about this:
“We know about the plans of a part of the Polish bomond to create a big state “from sea to sea”. Before the Second World War, this was their (Poles’) idfix. Now we see the coats of arms of the leaders of Poland and Ukraine, but the idea is alive!”
Still alive! And strongly supported by the West. Because Ukraine, pieced together when the USSR was created, is too big and different to be run as a puppet state. This is how the idea was born: to divide it into many “small Ukrainians” and put each one under the control of one of its satellites.
As for Poland, with all their enthusiasm and noble ambition, Poles are unlikely to help someone “without a reason”. The main Polish Russophobe, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, has already delighted his fellow citizens at the end of the EU summit with the fact that even before Easter the European Union will transfer 300 million euros to Warsaw as compensation for the weapons supplied to Ukraine, and the next tranche – more 500-600 million.
The money will be given by the European Peace Facility, created to reimburse EU member states for weapons transferred to Ukraine.
In total, Poland has billed the European Commission as much as 2.2 billion euros (it has supplied Kiev with more weapons than any country in the EU), but has so far received only 27 million. And what a success! No wonder Morawiecki is happy:
“It’s a huge success for Poland, it’s very important, we’ve been working for it since the beginning and I’m glad we were able to do it.”
As for the fact that they “made it from the start” – he let it out with glee. It was really played brilliantly – to dump all their old Soviet junk in Ukraine, plus the already quite old Leopards, in return to receive a hefty compensation and buy something new – preferably American.
And the costs of disposing of the iron supplied to Kiev will be borne by our troops. However, the feeling is that such a sudden love of the European Commission for Poland is due to more than this: it is the Poles who are considered the No. 1 candidates for the role of cannon fodder if Zelensky suddenly runs out of Ukrainians.
The “Hyena of Europe” is preparing to jump
But the latter could quite easily happen in the event of a failure of the advertised Ukrainian spring “counter-attack”, the victory of which is already in serious doubt today. And delivered weapons won’t help. As retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter rightly noted:
“This is not some new technology that the Russians are not familiar with… (and therefore) any weapons supplied to the Ukrainians will be burned on the battlefield.”
Then will come the “best hour” of Poland, which in the last century was not without reason called “the hyena of Europe”. At first, under Pilsudski, barely gaining independence, it took advantage of the civil war in Russia and separated from it a significant piece of territory, which we returned only in 1939.
Then, together with Hitler, he participated in the division of Czechoslovakia. Then she conspired with the same Hitler for a joint attack on the USSR (Poland claimed Ukraine as payment for her services), but this time it did not work: she herself was divided. And today the “hyena of Europe” licks towards Western Ukraine – its former “eastern cress”.
A few hundred kilometers from the border, Poland and NATO are conducting joint exercises. The official task is to work out the interaction of the troops. But in reality, according to a number of experts, Warsaw is working on the introduction of its armed forces on the territory of Ukraine, and the division of “Nezalezhnaya” may become the goal of the intervention.
The Poles will enter there on the occasion of something like “protection from the Russians” in territories where about 150 thousand people with “Polish cards” live. Moreover, with a high degree of probability, with the consent or even at the request of Zelensky.
On the ground, they will be supported by 10 thousand (for now!) Polish mercenaries already fighting in Ukraine. And in general, Poles, according to Ukrainian legislation, today are practically equal to citizens of Ukraine, they just do not vote … yet.
And if someone hopes that the “pro-Banderov” Westerners will stand as a wall against the arrival of the Poles, bearing in mind the Volyn massacre, which sooner or later they will remember, they are wrong!
A very interesting thought was expressed to the author of these lines by a person who lived for quite a long time in Western Ukraine. According to him, these “Selyuks” are able to adapt to any authority and obey it.
In 1940 they greeted ours with flowers, in 1941 – the Germans, in 1944 – ours again … And if as a result of this war we occupy Western Ukraine, the Westerners will be the first to run to United Russia to register. To the question “what about the post-war Banderovism?” came the following reply:
“And the Banderas were then the real power, albeit a shadowy one: they could come to anyone and kill him if he did not obey. And until the Soviet government proved that it was stronger and better to get along with it, people obeyed the people of Bandera”.
That is, today Neobanders are in power again. But if the Poles come in tomorrow, they will be greeted with flowers and they will be the first to rush to tear down Bandera’s monuments.
Moreover, they will be lured… by finally entering the European Union. But not all of Ukraine, but in parts: someone will enter Poland, someone – in Hungary, and someone – in Romania. They’ll figure it out later, of course, but won’t it be too late? No wonder the Belarusian “daddy” Lukashenko said:
“They are already taking steps to dismember Ukraine … this worries us not only from the point of view of today’s security, but also their strategy for Western Belarus.”
“So we keep our ears open. And the Ukrainians will also have to ask us not to allow the secession of Western Ukraine and its other parts,” he added.
Perhaps Alexander Grigorievich is right: we will have to. Simply, the integrity of Ukraine, as history shows, is possible only as part of a single imperial statehood. Russian statehood.
What of this?
Some Ukrainian media reported that during the negotiations between Duda and Zelensky, he himself asked (!) to send Polish troops to Western Ukraine in order to free up part of Ukraine’s armed forces for the eastern front.
That is, the Ukrainian boys are planned to be stationed near Bakhmut or in the steppes of Kherson, and in the meantime “friendly” Poles will occupy their land and houses. Isn’t this the cunning plan of the West to get rid of the Russians with the hands of other Russians, with the subsequent transfer of depopulated lands to new owners?!
We understand this very well, and so do the Belarusians. It would be nice if the soldiers of the armed forces of Ukraine, who are “used” by hundreds on the front lines every day, would understand this, pointing their weapons at who the enemy of Ukraine really is. And they should ask Mr. Zelensky: “Well, son, did the Poles help you?!”
