Taking to the streets, supporting and demanding that long-awaited equality is an act that the LGBTI community has endlessly enacted. The first time these people protested on the streets was 51 years ago. On June 28, 1969, the Stonewall riots broke out, which unleashed a large demonstration in New York, United States, and ended with clashes between citizens and the police over unheard requests by gay people. Since then, many cities in the world have dressed in colors of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet to commemorate the arduous struggle being carried out for a better society.
Although in 2020 the 50th march would take place, the International Pride Day will not be as always due to the health emergency that the planet is going through, which is why the community has decided to take digital platforms to make the virtual world their place of commemoration.
