Next Thursday, October 26, a fun family event awaits you in New York’s Central Park. This is the “Great Pumpkin Flotilla”, a completely free activity on Halloween Eve.
The attraction centers on a carved pumpkin that you must bring from home. The idea is that it weighs about 8 pounds, after carving, about the size of a soccer ball. It is essential that you comply with the measures so that it can be in the fleet.
“Do not bring pumpkins with artificial decorations, such as paint, glitter, markers, food coloring, paper or plastic. They will pollute Harlem Meer and harm wildlife,” the Central Park website clarifies. Light bulbs, floats and candles will be provided by the organizers.
Although tickets are free, it is essential that you confirm your attendance. You can do so by calling 212.310.6600, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
