His party continues to try to control the number of DHF cases by appealing to the public to adopt clean and healthy living habits and carry out the ‘1 Jumantik 1 House Movement’ (Juru Pemantau Jentik).

The local government also socializes the prevention of dengue fever cases on an ongoing basis through communication channels which are also used as a means of accelerating coordination and reporting of cases in addition to optimizing the movement of cadres of larva monitors.
The Bekasi District Health Office recorded 366 cases of dengue fever in the area during the period January-May 2023 with details of 65 cases in January, 53 cases in February, 66 cases in March, 76 cases in April, and 106 cases in May 2023.
“Although the number of cases is still relatively high, the number is still far below the number of cases that occurred in the same period last year,” he said.

Nurfalah said the DHF figures for the January-May 2022 period totaled 537 cases with details of 73 cases occurring in January 2022, 46 cases in February, 155 cases in March, 140 cases in April, and 123 cases in May 2022.
“We remain alert and don’t tire of advising the public to eradicate mosquito breeding sites with 3M plus, namely draining water reservoirs, tightly closing all water reservoirs so that mosquitoes cannot enter, and stockpiling or recycling waste of used goods that are no longer used so that they don’t get used. become a breeding ground for mosquitoes,” he said.
