The Canarian Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH), a center dependent on the Health Department of the Government of the Canary Islands, participates on Saturday May 20 in a donation campaign organized by the educational community of the Luther King School in San Miguel.

The day, framed in the commemoration of Family Day, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Donate the weekend in Tenerife

On the other hand, and with regard to the fixed points of the Canary Transfusion Network, you can donate this weekend at the Hospital Universitario de Canarias (without an appointment), from Sunday to Friday and holidays from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and at the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., except holidays.

You can also donate at the General University Hospital of La Palma, on Calle Buenavista de Arriba s/n, in Breña Alta, which has a fixed collection point that you can go to by appointment from Monday to Sunday and holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. To request an appointment by phone 922 185 312/922 185 320.

The ICHH recalls that the requirements to donate are to be between 18 and 65 years old, weigh more than 50 kilos, be in good health and not be pregnant.

To donate blood you can go directly or request an appointment by calling 012 or 922 470 012 (option 8), from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or by filling in the form published on the front page of the efectodonacion.com website. .
