Kids and their toys, right? But sports cars and kits are simply a joy that will last us from childhood to adulthood (when we finally have enough funds to make these dreams come true) – and the creators from the Danish toy company LEGO agree with us, because they supply us with wonderful kits of sports cars, which is simply a joy to compose.

For this spring, they have prepared a new batch of models for us, which will please every enthusiastic driver and builder. The main star is a kit from the Technic series (i.e. a technically sophisticated series) of the current Ford GT model, the modern incarnation of the famous racer from the 60s, which helped defeat Ferrari itself.

The modern Ford GT (it is already the second generation of this famous super sports car) captivated customers so much that the car company had to carefully choose to whom it would sell its car from a long crowd of interested parties. You are not at risk of anything like that with the kit, anyone can buy it. Even its price is significantly more affordable than that of the original supersport – in stores they will ask for it for roughly 2500-3000 CZK.

Which is a lot of fun for a reasonable price, because assembling this model from 1466 pieces is a big adventure in itself. You always wonder what you’re putting together and shake your head at how complicated it must have been to design the whole model.

The kit of the extreme circuit special Bugatti Bolide from the LEGO Technic series is slightly smaller and simpler, but it is also made up of 905 bricks and the price is around one thousand crowns.

The popular range of smaller LEGO Speed ​​Champions models (consisting of 250 pieces and more) has grown this year with several attractive pieces: we have the magnificent Pagani Utopia hypercar, the Porsche 963 racing special for Le Mans, the super GT from Maranello called the Ferrari 812 Competizione and a set of two of McLaren models – the legendary F1 in the racing version of the LM and the latest circuit missile Solus GT, the shape of which came from the concept for the racing game Gran Turismo. These smaller models are priced around CZK 600, while a set of two pieces from McLaren costs slightly over a thousand.
