Expected at the end of 2020, the 2nd symphonic album dedicated to Johnny Hallyday will finally be released on September 10. It will be followed, in 2022, by a tour scheduled for May 31, 2022 at the Zénith in Toulouse.
After a first event album in 2019, sales of which now reach 500,000 copies, Yvan Cassar is extending his work on Johnny Hallyday’s repertoire. On September 10, the eagerly awaited new album “Johnny Acte II” will be released. We will find great classics there such as “I promise you”, “The penitentiary”, “Laura”, “Mirador”, “The music that I love” or even a cover of “Don’t leave me”.
These two discs will allow all those who love them to find all these songs on stage “in this shared emotion”. A return to the idol which will be completed in spring 2022 by a 20-date tour, “Johnny symphonique Tour”, with the voice of Johnny Hallyday, a symphony orchestra and a choir. Tour which will take place on May 31 through the Zénith de Toulouse.
Yvan Cassar has undertaken to build a show “with ambitious dimensions” like Johnny did not have time to live. He presents his roadmap as follows: “Absolute loyalty to the will and tastes of the artist, musical and ethical rigor, splendor of the scenography”.
