Depp has offered art prints from his debut collection Friends and Heroes at British online store Castle Fine Art. The first collection includes engravings performed by the actor.
These artworks are hand painted, not computer generated. In Depp’s performance, portraits of four well-known people in the world were created, whose personalities are inspired by the actor himself. They are musician Bob Dylan, actor Al Pacino, actress Elizabeth Taylor and The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.
The price of one Johnny Depp work was 4,800 dollars (4,700 euros), but a set of four engravings could be purchased for 18,100 dollars (17,700 euros).

The news about the start of the sale of paintings appeared on Depa’s Instagram account. After that, the website of the online store did not work for a while, because of the high interest, there was an overload.
Once the technical issues were resolved, all 780 paintings in Depp’s collection were sold within hours.
“I’ve always used art to express my feelings and think about those who are most important to me – family, friends and people I admire,” Depp explained.
