Johnny Depp would love to reprise his role as Jack Sparrow, even if it was at children’s parties, if that meant he could act again. That said the 58-year-old actor during the film festival in the Spanish city of San Sebastian.

Due to the alleged abuse of his ex-wife Amber Heard, Depp had to resign his role in the third Fantastic beastsfilm down from producer Warner Bros. Pictures. The actor believes that he was boycotted by Hollywood and has spoken openly about it several times, including at the San Sebastian Film Festival.
Depp says he has come to a point where he is even willing to perform as Captain Jack Sparrow at children’s parties, if that would mean he can act again.

The actor first took on the role of the headstrong, often drunk captain in the first film of the in 2003 Pirates Of The Caribbeanfranchise. Four more films with Depp in the lead role followed. “The great thing about Captain Jack Sparrow for me is that he can travel with me in a box,” he said at the San Sebastian Film Festival. “When the opportunity arises, I’m able to bring it out in places where the most important things, like laughter, matter.”
Depp went on to say that he would even bring the character out at children’s birthday parties. “I’ve come to that point,” he said. The Hollywood star looked quite elated despite the allegations by his ex-wife, waving and smiling at his fans.
