Johnny de Mol is still at home with palpitations due to the stress of the abuse report that his ex-partner made him this year. That’s what lord of the table Rutger Castricum said on a talk show Friday HLF8.
The broadcast looked back over the past year and the countless shows whose employees and hosts have been accused of inappropriate behavior.
Castricum argued that too many TV stars have been written off this year without proof of their alleged misdeeds. “We reward Sam Hagens, that one HLF8 now he presents the world,” Castricum said. “But Johnny should have been here. He now he’s at home with palpitations.”
Presenter Leonie ter Braak said in October HLF8 even though De Mol gained 10 kilos during the whole affair. De Mol resigned from his duties in late April due to allegations of misconduct.
The Public Prosecutor (OM) recently dismissed the assault and attempted murder charges that De Mol’s former partner Shima Kaes filed against him. The investigation did not yield enough evidence, the OM said.
Talpa then said he would discuss with De Mol what he wanted to do. But he decided to permanently stop his talk show HLF8. According to the former presenter, “the repercussions of this whole period are heavier than expected”. She therefore wants to concentrate completely on her well-being and that of her immediate environment.
