The end of the talk show HLF8 presenter Johnny de Mol finds it difficult because of everything he has experienced with the editors. “We’ve been through a lot together and then you have to stop, it’s extra sour,” he said in the broadcast of Humberto On Sunday.
De Mol refers to the corona pandemic and the fact that he was temporarily unable to present the talk show due to allegations of misconduct.
“I think I was the first to cancel myself,” he told talk show host Humberto Tan. The allegations had a major impact on his life, his family and his attitude to life.
The SBS6 program HLF8 has to stop at the beginning of April due to low viewing figures. “We all know that this world revolves around viewing figures,” said De Mol. The number of viewers has grown in recent months. “But unfortunately the advance came just too late.”
De Mol can now be seen occasionally in HLF8
De Mols ex Shima Kaes reported abuse at the beginning of 2022. The Public Prosecution Service (OM) dismissed the report at the end of that year due to a lack of evidence.
Because of the report, De Mol stopped presenting. Permanent substitute Hélène Hendriks and Leonie ter Braak took over the presentation.
When the Public Prosecution Service had dismissed the case, De Mol decided to resume his television activities. He is now in once a week HLF8 to see. Sam Hagens has also been added to the presentation team.
In the broadcast of Humberto On Sunday it was also announced that De Mol now has new plans. For example, he is going to make a travel program in Botswana.
