In recent days, news has been circulating on the Internet that director Chad Stahelski would start work on John Wick: Chapter 5but unfortunately this does not seem to be true. That does not mean that Stahelski is sitting still.
The former stuntman is now working on his Highlander-reboot, starring none other than Henry Cavill. A fifth John Wick-film is not yet a certainty, but if this is ever worked on, it will not happen before 2026.

Stahelski, along with Reeves, built this beloved franchise from the ground up, and Lionsgate rewarded him by making him the lead figure for all John Wick-related projects.
As Stahelski said earlier: “I’m proud to be joining Lionsgate and expanding this fantastic universe. John Wick is very close to my heart, so I want to get this all right, but right now my attention is on Highlander“.
