Times are tough for Jean Mur. According to Marc Stein, the Clippers are actively looking to trade John Wall, and if they fail to do so by the trade deadline tonight at 9 p.m., the point guard will likely be cut by the California franchise.. Sad fate for the former Washington All-Star.
This is called crash into the wall. John Wall, once considered one of the best point guards in the league, passing virtuoso and completely honest defender, is about to suffer another setback. J-Wall should leave the Clippers soon, either via a trade by the deadline or by getting cut by the Los Angeles franchise. At least that’s what insider Marc Stein reported tonight.
John Wall’s tenure with the Clippers is nearing an end, league sources say.
Sources say the Clippers are still trying to trade Wall before Thursday’s 3 PM ET trade buzzer but are expected to buy out the former All-Star if no deal develops.

The player from Kentucky is currently having a season… passable but far from fitting with what we have seen from his hands. Usually JW was the third or fourth offensive option from the bench of Tyronn Lue behind Terance Mann or the impeccable Norman Powell, but with only 11 points per game accompanied by 5 assists, the point guard achieves his worst individual performances of his career. And it is not his modest 30% by far that will come to comfort Wall’s statistical line. Still, it wasn’t too long ago that he and Bradley Beal were a killer duo in Washington, their greatest achievement being worrying Isaiah Thomas’ Celtics in 2017 by pushing Boston to a 7And match. We didn’t know it yet, but it was then John Wall’s peak in the NBA…
In 2019, he signed a huge contract of 171 million dollars over 4 years but the latter will turn out to be a real poison, one of the worst contracts in NBA history let’s not be afraid of words. Indeed, injured, the leader does not play the 2019-2020 fiscal year and is transferred to the Rockets against Russell Westbrook. Last year, John Wall joined the Clippers thanks to the mid-level exception and this season may already sound like the end of his adventure in LA, he who has not played for a month due to abdominal pain, the laugh bars probably, or so stress, maybe.
On the decline, hard to imagine where John Wall could bounce back. What if it was already… the last time we were talking about the n°1 of the 2010 Draft in the NBA?..
